What are the FAFSA Deadlines?

Federal Deadlines

2023-2024

The FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on June 30, 2024. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sept. 14, 2024.

2024-2025

The FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central time (CT) on June 30, 2025. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sept. 14, 2025.

State FAFSA Deadlines

2023-2024

FAFSA applications must be submitted by:
(Financial Aid applications must be submitted by the dates below in order to be eligible for state aid during the specified term(s))

• April 15, 2023 for renewal* & all EOF students (Fall 23 / Spring 24)
• September 15, 2023 for new students (Fall 23 / Spring 24)
• February 15, 2024 for new students (Spring 24 only)

*(Renewal = Students who received a Tuition Aid grant (TAG) for AY 2022-23)

FAFSA applications must be completed by:
(All tasks must be completed on NJFAMS by the dates below in order to be eligible for state aid during the specified term(s))

• October 1, 2023 (Fall 23)
• March 1, 2024 (Spring 24)

2024-2025

FAFSA applications must be submitted by:
